Swinging in Teignmouth

Teignmouth - what a great town. There must be something in the water. The locals love music. It always works well for us here. Lots of positive feedback. Andrew is playing the banjo to avoid upsetting the shopkeepers in the narrow main street - the mandola's amplification having caused a few comments last time out. Consequently met a bloke from Paignton learning to play the five-string banjo and a kind lady from Teignmouth who plays the tenor banjo in a jazz band. The tenor banjist had spoken to us last time we were in town - telling us how much she liked the music. Positive comments are at least as good as the cash drops. Brilliant play park on the seafront too which keeps the Blake thing happy....

So good to see you in Blogland (it's a crazy place but has a nice view sometimes) and looks like the music is working well for you. I can't believe the size of Blake - wasn't he in a sling just six months ago! Babies, my how they grow. Kenny and I plan to stay in Spain from early January through to Dragonfest so hopefully we will see you out there if not before. Need to catch up with Rick for some Hicksters action, not seen him since Dragon this year - do you have any video footage to share? Wishing you all a happy November and do come and see us up North if there is any chance of you doing so, we would love to show you round our patch before we leave. Much love, Helen xxxx
